Amila Jayampathy, MS
Trust Officer
Amila serves as Trust Officer at Midland Trust Company and has nearly fifteen years of experience in trust and wealth management. She began her career as Trust Operations Specialist, quickly excelled at relationship management and client service, and advanced to Trust Administrator. Amila primarily works with Supplemental Needs Trusts, which typically benefit children and adults with disabilities. She is passionate about helping clients live as normal a life as possible given their difficult circumstances. Amila is experienced in managing real estate owned by Supplemental Needs Trusts, working closely with various third-party contractors and vendors to secure, maintain and preserve real estate owned in trust.
Amila received her BS in Public Accounting Suma Cum Laude and her master’s degree in Public Accounting with Distinctions at Mercy College. She plans to obtain CPA licensure and is currently studying for the CPA exam. Amila is a member of Delta Mu Delta, the International Honor Society in Business. Amila is bilingual and proficient in English and Sinhalese.
