Amila has nearly fifteen years of experience in trust and wealth management. She began her career as a Trust Operations Specialist and quickly excelled at relationship management and client service. Amila now serves as Trust Administrator for Midland Trust Company and primarily works with Supplemental Needs Trusts, which typically benefit severely disabled children. She is passionate about helping clients live as normal a life as possible given their difficult circumstances. Amila is also experienced in managing real estate owned by Supplemental Needs Trusts, working closely with various third-party service providers to secure, maintain and preserve homes owned in trust.
Amila received her BS in Public Accounting Suma Cum Laude from Mercy College. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Public Accounting at Mercy College, after which she plans to sit for the CPA exam and obtain CPA licensure. Amila is a member of Delta Mu Delta, the International Honor Society in Business.
