Senior Trust Officer
Ilene is a Senior Trust Officer serving the Chicago and Chicagoland areas (Cook, Will, DuPage, Lake, and Kane Counties). She seeks out new business opportunities to work with attorneys, individuals and families to administer a variety of fiduciary accounts including straightforward investment accounts, non-contested guardianships and trust administration accounts, as well as complex matters such as those involving litigation for the Court’s direction to construe ambiguous estate planning documents, court appointments to administer contested estates, and estates that hold special assets, such as real property, private business interests, LLCs, Promissory Notes, Oil, gas and mineral interests. Ilene also has extensive experience with working with people with disabilities following a settlement or verdict of a personal injury or medical malpractice action. For the past several years, her fiduciary roles in trust and estate settings were held within large financial institution’s wealth management groups.
Ilene earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from DePaul University, Master of Education degree from St. Xavier University, Post Baccalaureate Certificate ABA-approved paralegal studies (Tax/Litigation), and Certification in Genealogical Research from Boston University. She volunteers her time and efforts to support community organizations that support low-income families and educational access and opportunities, such as Suburban Service League, Homewood Science Center, and PADs.
